Peer Foods Group has been a leader in the meat processing business for 150 years, and has continued to grow with their customers during that time.
Peer Foods came to Tippmann Group looking for a tactical solution to address their distribution needs. The resulting 62,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility solved their immediate short-term need, while also positioning Peer Foods for strategic long-term growth through master site planning. This plan included putting the infrastructure in place to support substantial future production capabilities at the site.
The building is extremely flexible with multiple spaces at a variety of temperatures. It features rooms for dry, cooler, deep chill and freezer storage, with each room capable of being converted to additional cooler or freezer space. Peer Foods’ business profile can change and evolve frequently over time, so this flexibility was a key part of the design of this building to make sure it can grow and change as their business grows and changes in the future.
