(Fort Wayne, Indiana) – Interstate Warehousing continues to grow in 2004. Site work is already underway on an expansion of our Indianapolis public refrigerated warehouse on Keystone Avenue. The planned 31,000 square foot addition will add more than 3,600 pallet positions and 7 new dock doors to the facility.

This is the third facility expansion for Interstate Warehousing in the past two years. Interstate Warehousing, a Tippmann Group company, expanded facilities in Joliet, Illinois and Newport News, Virginia in 2003.

The addition in Indianapolis solidifies Interstate Warehousing’s place among the top 10 Public Refrigerated Warehouse (PRW) companies in North America. When the expansion is finished, Interstate will own and manage more than 50 million cubic feet of refrigerated warehouse space around the country. Construction is scheduled to be completed in June, 2004.

The expansion was designed and is being built by Tippmann Construction, a leader in fast-track refrigerated warehouse construction. Tippmann specializes in the construction of PRWs, using experience gained as owners and operators of Interstate Warehousing PRWs all across the country.
