(Fort
Wayne, IN) - Interstate Warehousing, Inc. is moving forward with
plans to add another facility to it's network of Public Refrigerated
Warehouses. A new, state-of-the-art 150,000 square foot distribution
center is planned for 2005, located just outside of Indianapolis.
The facility
will sit on a 30-acre site on the near south side of Indianapolis
in Franklin. Located at the southeast corner of the intersection
of Interstate 65 and State Road 44 in Franklin Tech Park, there
is room on the site for future expansion up to 750,000 square
feet.
Interstate
Warehousing's newest facility offers convenient distribution options
to many major cities in the Midwest, including Louisville, Chicago,
and Cincinnati. It is scheduled to be open for business in the
summer of 2005.
The distribution center
is being designed and built by Tippmann Group, a specialist in
public refrigerated warehouse construction.
