Less
than two years after completing a 154,000 square-foot
public refrigerated warehouse for CFC Logistics in Quakertown,
Pennsylvania, Tippmann Group and CFC teamed up again to
add another 100,000 square feet of storage and distribution
space to their facility.
A
strong and fast period of growth in the Clemens Family’s
new PRW venture, and the increased need for storage and
distribution space in and around Allentown, Pennsylvania
drove CFC back to Tippmann to add more space to their
facility.
When
the original facility was designed and built, Tippmann
Group’s team of engineers and designers had put
into place a master plan which would facilitate an easy
addition to the facility whenever CFC was ready to expand.
Like the original building, the expansion has multiple
refrigerated and frozen temperature capabilities, capable
of going as low as -20°F. Four additional blast freezers
were also included in the
new addition.
The
completed facility now sits at 254,000 square feet, with
8 blast freezers and 33 dock doors.
