Rupari Food Services,
a family-owned and operated business, had
been using outside storage facilities to handle
their products after they were made. As their
business grew, they began looking for ways
to reduce some of their costs, and the idea
that made the most sense was adding a process
freezer on to their manufacturing plant.
Rupari’s plant manager
knew of Tippmann Group from a previous relationship
with Interstate Warehousing in the Chicago
market. They came to Tippmann to discuss the
best way to maximize their investment to build
a facility attached to their existing building.
Tippmann Group and Rupari
were a natural fit as business partners. Both
are family-owned and operated businesses,
and Rupari’s leadership recognized the
importance of the experience Tippmann had
as both a design/builder and an owner/operator
of refrigerated distribution facilities.
Rupari utilized Tippmann Group’s
full range of services, from design &
construction of their new facility, to operations
and warehousing support throughout the opening
of the facility.
The finished 60,000 square
foot facility features a process freezer,
tempering cooler and new blast freezing rooms.
A 6,000 square foot expansion was also added
to the processing area of the building, as
well as more than 1,800 square feet of new
office space.
