In
February 1998 a fire destroyed one of Roundy's
distribution facilities in Evansville, Indiana.
Roundy's acted quickly to meet immediate demands,
but needed a plan to ensure ongoing distribution
requirements were met. They called Tippmann
Group to discuss a new warehousing facility.
Tippmann
designed a new state-of-the-art freezer/cooler
distribution facility and broke ground in
mid-August 1998. Ninety days later, Tippmann
had the new 140,000-square-foot facility ready
to accept product.
