Nabisco's
refrigerated food products operation grew
substantially when the company acquired new
product lines. The company moved new manufacturing
operations to its Indianapolis location, and
this increase in volume opened the door for
Nabisco customers to receive all of the company's
refrigerated products in single truck deliveries.
Tippmann Group helped Nabisco evaluate these
new distribution needs, and then designed
and built a new 4.1 million cubic foot warehouse.
At the same time, Tippmann Group also provided
interim logistics support to maintain uninterrupted
shipping of combined product during the transition.
Within four months, the warehouse was built
and Nabisco was able to comingle all of its
refrigerated products for cost savings and
customer convenience.
