Marsh
Supermarkets, Inc. is a leader among regional
food retailers in the Midwest, operating more
than 100 supermarkets and LoBill food stores
and nearly 200 convenience stores in Indiana
and Ohio, but like most other companies, budget
and timing were of the highest importance
when they began to consider building a new
119,000 square foot freezer on their distribution
campus on the East side of Indianapolis.
It
was a project Marsh had wanted to do for a
few years. After initial internal planning,
Archie Hollins, Vice President of Warehousing
and Transportation, turned to Tippmann for
the final layout and engineering of the facility.
Not
only was Tippmann Group able to come up with
a plan to meet Marsh’s budget needs,
but it was also a plan that got the job done
in the time frame Marsh was looking for.
